Sneak Peek

Looks like the cat's out of the bag a bit early :) Check out a sneak peek at our new Ning redesign, which'll be live as you wake up tomorrow morning. Unless you're on the East Coast and wake up suuuuuper early, in which case you've got bigger issues.

UPDATE: We're now live! Here's my new profile page.

TV Update

Here's what I've been squeezing in during relaunch downtime...

1) Arrested Development: I've decided that I no longer want anyone to pick up the show, as the finale was just flat-out amazing. A fitting conclusion to one of the best shows to ever air on network television. Better to go out at the absolute top of its game than pull an X-Files.

2) Scrubs: Just keeps getting better and better.

3) Lost: Back in action after a slight slump. Missed last week's, but scored it from iTunes, so watching shortly.

4) The Office (American version): Damn amazing. British version-related sidenote...I'm absolutely addicted to The Ricky Gervais Show podcast.

5) American Idol: That's right. Shut your face and deal with it.

6) The Olympics: Ha, yeah right. I couldn't give less of a shit.

First Time

Looks like CNET's running some sort of "What Was Your First Computer?" poll. Mine would be as follows...

1) First Computer Ever Used: Apple IIe (I think IIe, maybe just Apple me) used in early grade school 1983-84ish. Oregon Trail and such.

2) First Computer My Parents Owned: My parents had one of the first IBM PCs. Mid-80s I think? I remember playing King's Quest on it.

3) First Computer I Owned: Mac Color Classic purchased with money made from lawn mowing and Great America season pass laminating.

Lookin' For a Good Time?

We've got you covered.

30 Boxes

Much like my mother has made it her life's quest to find the perfect wallet, I'm always on the lookout for the perfect web-based calendar. After using it for half a day, I have to say that 30 Boxes is pretty damn close.
